Individual Membership

To become a member of the Society for the Study of Economic Inequality (ECINEQ), please, send an inquiry to the ECINEQ Secretariat (info@ecineq.org).
Membership will run from the date of payment of fees and will last two years.
By becoming a member, you accept to receive e-mails and alerts about the ECINEQ activities and initiatives. 

Current Membership Rates

Standard membership fee: 150,00 Euros.
Reduced fee for PhD Students and LDC Researchers (from countries included in the following list UN-OHRLLS LCDs): 50,00 Euros. If you select the reduced fee, please, join a justification of your status to the application form. 

Payment of Membership Fees

New and existing members can pay their membership fees by bank transfer.
A receipt can be provided to you either by mail or e-mail if required.

Membership Benefits

– A personal subscription for the Journal of Economic Inequality, published by Springer.
– The possibility to apply for participation and scholarship in the ECINEQ Summer and Winter Schools.
– Access to update information on upcoming conferences and training courses, job openings, notices related to research and policy.
– Access to the ECINEQ membership directory.
– The right to vote in the ECINEQ General Assembly of members and in the ECINEQ elections.
– The right to post announcements of events, educational programmes, job openings, suggestions concerning web resources or materials of interest to the profession, at no charge in the ECINEQ website.
– The possibility to publish on the Ecineq Working Paper Series.

Institutional Membership

ECINEQ is open to receive the support of institutional members. These are national and international public and private organizations interested in supporting research in the ECINEQ’s areas of interest. To become an institutional member of the Society for the Study of Economic Inequality (ECINEQ), please contact the Secretary of the Association who will inform you about the procedure.

National and International Research Centers, Central Banks and Statistical Institutes interested in the topics of economics of inequality can apply for institutional membership.

Membership will run from the date of payment of fees and will last two years.

Membership rate

Current institutional membership fees: 600,00 euros.

Membership Benefits

Institutions can name up to three individuals that have all benefits of individual members but no right to vote in the General Assembly and no right to be selected as potential candidates for any of the organs of the Society.
