Call for papers
CISEPS 2023 Annual Workshop
“Tackling Inequality: Challenges, Research, and Policies”
14 April 2023, University of Milano-Bicocca

The Center for Interdisciplinary Studies in Economics, Psychology and Social Sciences (CISEPS) is organizing an international workshop entitled “Tackling Inequality: Challenges, Research, and Policies”.
The workshop aims at fostering an interdisciplinary debate involving economists, political scientists, statisticians, and other social scientists towards a better understanding of inequality.

The CISEPS Workshop encourages contributions about new theoretical/methodological approaches and applied research from public economics, behavioral economics, experimental economics, statistics and other quantitative disciplines.

The following list illustrates, but does not exhaust, possible topics:
– Inequality broadly defined (e.g., income, wealth, debt, gender, race, class, education, space) and its perceptions.
–  Causes and consequences of inequality.
– Public policies to address inequalities (e.g., redistribution, taxation, and poverty alleviation, educational programs).
– Multidimensionality of inequality (e.g., social and political exclusion, precarity, marginalization, discrimination).

Authors of accepted papers will be invited to submit their work for publication (upon successful peer-review) in Journal of Income Distribution.
